What this publication is
Golf Buyers Lab is an independent buyer-research publication covering launch monitors, simulator components, GPS watches, rangefinders, and golf software. The goal is simple: make the tradeoffs visible before a golfer spends money.
What our evidence can support
Most guides are source-led. We check official product pages, manuals, support documents, membership terms, and compatibility pages, then separate those vendor-reported facts from our buyer-fit analysis. We do not convert a spec sheet into a fake personal story.
When a guide includes first-hand testing, it must say what was tested, when, with which firmware or software, in what setup, and against which comparison device. If those notes do not exist, the guide does not claim hands-on experience.
What readers should expect
- Current prices and subscription terms with a visible checked date.
- Direct links to primary sources for material product claims.
- Clear separation between source-reported facts and editorial judgment.
- Buy, skip, and “not for this use case” recommendations with the mechanism explained.
- Corrections when products, firmware, pricing, or software terms change materially.
