How affiliate links work

How recommendations are made
Recommendations are based on fit, tradeoffs, costs, setup friction, and buyer use case. A product is never ranked higher because it pays a commission. Commercial relationships — affiliate links, review samples, sponsorships — do not affect ranking.
Link qualification
When affiliate links are added to a page, each link is explicitly qualified at the link level and this disclosure page is updated. Pages that currently carry no affiliate links say so plainly.
Reader-first standard
If a cheaper option, used option, DIY option, or “skip it” answer is better for a golfer, the article says so — regardless of whether that recommendation is less commercially attractive.
