Authorship

Research-led articles use the Golf Buyers Lab Editorial Desk byline. A named contributor appears only when that person has verifiable involvement and approves the attribution. Composite or fictional reviewer biographies are not permitted.

Product and testing claims

Prices, specifications, setup requirements, compatibility, and membership terms should be checked against current primary sources. First-hand language requires documented test notes. Vendor-reported performance is identified as a vendor claim, not presented as our result.

Recommendations

Rankings should follow explicit buyer constraints and mechanisms: required metrics, space, recurring costs, device support, portability, and total setup cost. Products do not receive better placement because of sponsorship, affiliate economics, or access.

Commercial relationships

Affiliate links, review samples, sponsorships, and other material relationships must be disclosed on the relevant page. A commercial relationship does not guarantee coverage or a favorable conclusion.

Corrections and updates

Material changes to price, product status, firmware, subscriptions, or compatibility receive a new checked date. Unsupported claims are removed or qualified. A page that cannot meet the sourcing and authorship standard is held from publication rather than polished into false confidence.

Reader expectations

  • Visible dates for material source checks.
  • Direct source links for consequential claims.
  • Clear distinction between source-reported facts, independent evidence, first-hand notes, and analysis.
  • Practical buy/skip guidance with caveats for budget, room, platform, and recurring costs.
